What People Are Saying
"From my experience and perspective as both parent and teacher of students in Tuolumne County Schools, I confidently support Superintendent Cathy Parker without reservation. Her commitment to students’ needs is evident; if you go to support one of your children or students at any County Schools event, you will see Cathy there supporting, too. Leading our county schools is no small task - Superintendent Parker has the heart, wisdom, and experience to continue leading and supporting Tuolumne County's students."
Leslie Newman, Teacher
"As a long time health care provider in our local Tuolumne County schools, I have had the privilege of working with several County Superintendents over many years. The onslaught of COVID-19 was an unprecedented event and the biggest crisis in Tuolumne County school history. I watched Cathy Parker on the COVID battlefield and her commitment to Tuolumne County children and their families never faltered. Cathy had to make many difficult decisions during this time and most people did not see how much research and time she dedicated to each and every decision this pandemic required. Cathy is responsible for developing and implementing COVID testing sites throughout the county, to make testing more available for families and school staff. Cathy also met weekly with local and state advisors on how to move forward during this incredibly difficult time for all of us. Cathy has always put the needs and safety of children on the forefront of every decision she makes and I am happy to endorse Superintendent Parker as my choice for Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools."
